Workout BFF: HiDow's Muscle Recovery Units

| On
August 30, 2017
Has any of you ever heard of HiDow? They're a company that sells TENS Units and EMS Units for both athletes and people with chronic pain. Sounds a little confusing right? Well, let me explain.

TENS Units

This stands for Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation that focuses on people with chronic pain. But you don't have to suffer from pain to enjoy it. Every day people can get a hold to these knowing they'll feel relaxed after every session. It works by stopping pain signals from reaching the brain and stimulates the production of "feel-good" chemicals called endorphin.

EMS Units

These units have been so popular in the sports industry because of their incredible effects. Athletes from all around the world use them as an extra kick for their workout. Interestingly enough, these units will contract the muscles giving them an extra boost especially when you're trying to gain muscles.

But it's not just athletes who can benefit from this. People who suffer from atrophy or fibromyalgia might find a difference as the device moves their muscles.

My Personal Experience

I'm a fan, honestly. It's been a big help after my workouts. I'm not really as sore as I used to which is amazing because no one really wants that right?

I used to workout dreading the burning sensation. I mean, it's supposed to be a good thing, but it's painful! So, I don't really feel that anymore which is brilliant!

The AcuXPD-S is what I have. They come in different colors, and I really wish that I got the blue one because it's one of my favorite colors, but this purchase was a bit out of whim. Nonetheless, it's been great.

BTW, if you're into working out, they have a Brand Ambassador Program that you can get into. Try them out.

The Easiest Way to Find an Auto Repair For Car Maintenance

| On
August 03, 2017
Understanding the difference between auto repair and maintenance is imperative when you're considering to take your vehicle for a little TLC. Routine maintenance will entail a scheduled service that's listed according to your vehicle's manual. The purpose of this is to keep your car in top condition. On the other hand, repairs are performed to fix an issue. Where you want to take your vehicle depends on what it needs.

Scheduled maintenance is performed at any dealership, and you don't have to choose the place where you purchased the car. At the same time, you can pick a franchise or an independent auto-repair shop which is typically a little less than the price a dealership would ask for. Because of the federal law, you can service your car anywhere you like without having your warranty affected by it. Mechanics are generally trained to perform maintenance of vehicles for specific models and makes. They're also equipped with the necessary diagnostic equipment. Because it's a fairly basic task to work on maintenance, any professional auto shops should be able to perform them with ease.

If you're not sure where to go, I suggest searching the web and looking at their services page. One of the great parts about doing your research first is that you can find coupons within the website for more savings! Who doesn't like savings, right? I sure do.

Now my question for all of you is, where do you go for auto repair or maintenance? I've had a wave of poor services before until I've found the main one that has really helped me. My suggestion, don't take your vehicle to the dealership. Instead, take it to a trusted mom and pop business that can do the maintenance at a lower price.

Because your car doesn't need a repair, it's easier to see which auto shops are most trusted without having to shell out a lot of money!

How do you maintain your car?

Property Management: Is It Right For You?

| On
July 07, 2017
It is no surprise that many residents in the Las Vegas own a variety across the valley. Heck, just three years ago, I went to a Property Management Company, and to my surprise the property manager had seven different houses. Now, that I think about it, I don't exactly know why I was astonished because it has become a norm here. It's a norm that no one dares to really speak of. Now, you might be wondering, where am I going with this? Good question.

Reassuring Homeowners

Property management in Las Vegas, or any city for that matter handles your home. Some of us just don't have the time and effort to become landlords ourselves. What happens when your tenant neglects to pay for rent? Who are you going to call when a maintenance query arises. Such issues are addressed by a property management company so you don't have to worry about anything else. They'll handle all the dirty work with an extreme touch of professionalism.

A Renter's Delight

Now, this can also work both ways. Renters who are looking to rent a house can go to a property manager for help! Some would even have a realtor who can work side by side with them to see which house they can close for you. It's just like buying a house, but without the long-term commitment. When you've selected a home, then you can sign the paper work, and you're living in the home like it's yours!

Renting a house from a property management company with the same benefits as living in an apartment. Why do some people opt to get a house instead of an apartment? For starters, some just like the privacy. Others like the added spaces such as 4-5 bedrooms. Or they don't like the idea of being one wall away from a neighbor. The reasons are endless. But the benefits are tremendous.

As mentioned, you can receive the same benefits of renting a house like an apartment. When issues happen, you can all your property manager to address leaks, broken sinks, and more. In many cases, you wouldn't have to pay out of pocket unless of course, they rule that it's not within your lease. See, just living in an apartment!

Defining the Way We See Luxury Estates in Las Vegas

| On
July 03, 2017

Back then cartoons used to consume my time. But now, I'm finding myself flipping through channels like HGTV, Vice, TBS, CNN, and The Comedy Central. I've clearly defined what it's like to be an adult in my generation.

Now, where was I going with this? Right, if you're anything at all fond of HGTV's House Hunters, you'd be surprised by the amount of budget some people have for their home. Once I saw someone purchase an amazing luxury home for half million, while others spend the same amount for a condo.

Luckily, I'm in a city where luxury homes are priced generously.  For about $500,000 you're living in a palacial property with more rooms than you can imagine. It's mind-blowing how location can make a difference.

I have friends in Los Angeles, who would purchase a home like that in a heart beat. But with housing costs on the rise, there's no way they can afford a property so grand. It just makes you wonder what's more important: a nice-looking home or the city of your dreams?

Around my age, there's this pressure to meet milestones of accomplishments. By 28 you're to have an established career and a home owner. By 30, you're to be married with children on the way already. It's a lot of pressure which presses the issue of whether we should more to another city for affordable homes. Let alone, luxury homes.

Now, the my question for you is: would you live in the home of your dreams or city of your dreams?

| On
June 28, 2017

Sure, living in Las Vegas has its ups and downs. If you're not a Las Vegas native, you may find yourself homesick for friends and family. Still, the perks can almost outweigh the cons. For instance, the unbeatable price of real estate in Las Vegas is our state's magnetic attraction. Who can say "no" to newly built houses priced at an average of $200,000? Who? Unless you're a millionaire, you can stop talking, and take my money now!

Taking the Biggest Blow in Our National Economy

But it wasn't always. During the recession, Las Vegas took the biggest blow in low unemployment rates making our economy undesirable to many. Many head of households were losing their jobs due to layoffs as a result of the crumbling economy which created a wave of foreclosures for a few years. Without a doubt, Las Vegas continues to tell the dark stories of the past as it continues to bounce back from such nightmare. However, "in December, the number of properties that received a foreclosure filing in Las Vegas, NV was 19% lower than the previous month and 7% lower than the same time last year." Isn't that amazing news?

Today, Real Estate in Las Vegas is Where It's At

Housing will only continue to rise from today. More and more people are moving back to the city as they find employment and improved cost of living. In Vegas, you get a taste of both worlds. It's not too crowded, but you can still immerse yourself in the "big city lifestyle". We have just about everything you need from entertainment, restaurants, nightlife, and more. The location is a strong factor to the city with booming jobs, newly developed homes, etc.
