At the same time, you can pick a franchise or an independent auto-repair shop which is typically a little less than the price a dealership would ask for. Because of the federal law, you can service your car anywhere you like without having your warranty affected by it. Mechanics are generally trained to perform maintenance of vehicles for specific models and makes. They're also equipped with the necessary diagnostic equipment. Because it's a fairly basic task to work on maintenance, any professional auto shops should be able to perform them with ease.

Now my question for all of you is, where do you go for auto repair or maintenance? I've had a wave of poor services before until I've found the main one that has really helped me. My suggestion, don't take your vehicle to the dealership. Instead, take it to a trusted mom and pop business that can do the maintenance at a lower price.
Because your car doesn't need a repair, it's easier to see which auto shops are most trusted without having to shell out a lot of money!
